Another delicious snack. Eat it on its own or with non-diary milk or yoghurt for breakfast!

Recipe type: Breakfast, snacks, Raw
Serves: 10-12

Ingredients
  • 380g Buckwheat
  • 400g Fig Paste (See my recipe for this under ‘Condiments’)
  • 1 Tbs ground Flaxseed
  • 2 Tbs Sunflower Seeds
  • ½ tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground Nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp ground Ginger
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Stevia
  • 30g Goji Berries
  • 2 Tbs Desiccated Coconut

Instructions
  1. Soak the Buckwheat in filtered water for approx 12-15 hours, rinsing and changing the water approx every 4 hrs. Rinse thoroughly at the end.
  2. Place all the other ingredients in a large bowl and combine well
  3. Add the buckwheat and combine
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on a dehydrator sheet using a spatula
  5. This amount of mixture did three round trays for me
  6. Dehydrate on 45degrees for 24hrs
  7. Crumble into bite size pieces and store either in an air tight container or vacuumed seal in plastic bags
  8. Can be eaten as they are as snacks or add them to non-diary milk or yoghurt for a healthy breakfast.
